                                           Destination Karminia
                                             By Maureen Simpson

Maureen Simpson is a British writer of children’s books. We chose Destination Karminia for a review because It’s an interesting reading.

Professor Peng is a young woman who is looking for a lost city called Karminia. She needs help for find it. A group of archaeologists (Simon, Stella and Jasmine) see her email so they meet her and start to search for this place. After this, they travel to find it. While they are travelling they find clues of the location of Karminia.  but they are not the only ones who are looking for Karminia. A man called Philip Cummins and his helpers Jim and Tony are also interested in this city and will follow them.

The biggest weakness is that it can be boring because it is predictable. Anyway, it is a short reading that you can read in one day. A strength is that little children and adults will enjoy this book if they are interested in archaeology

In our opinion, the book is boring and predictable. Also, the characters do not have real feelings so you don’t know how do they feel, what they do in life and it’s not so interesting.
